Jean-Marie has been a lecturer, an executive director, a two-time CEO and founder and a facilitator of peace. Jean Marie is motivated by his compassion and love for his country - he wants to see Burundi thrive.

Simon is from an international finance background with more than 15 years’ experience working in senior operations and management roles.
He has also successfully managed procurement processes and renegotiated contracts and fee structures with third-party service providers.
A seasoned Chartered Electrical Engineer with a combination of energy and utility expertise in distribution and energy access and effective leadership.He has 26 years of utility experience in roles from managing large complex electricity infrastructure projects to utility turnaround management contracts.
Théoneste is an experienced linesman who has implemented low and medium voltage lines in networks across Burundi. He is also an experienced technician who has installed electrical systems in houses and commercial buildings. He is leading our pilot phase implementation of the distribution network in Giharo and also helping with household electricty installations. His family live in Bujumbura.
Janvier worked with Phillip in Rwanda and was trained as the first member of the team he hired there when he was establishing a team for mini-grid implementation. He had recently left the Mahama refugee camp and was looking for a way ahead. He learned the work he is doing now: Household electricity installations and distribution line build. He is living with his new family in Giharo.
